Our Story

Established in 1994, Crown of India is a family-run restaurant dedicated to bringing the authentic taste of India to our community. We take pride in staying true to the rich, diverse flavors of Indian cuisine, offering a culinary experience that reflects our heritage.

As one of the longest-running Indian restaurants in the area, we've proudly served the community for decades. We are known for hosting and catering some of the best weddings, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, and milestone events in town - delivering exceptional food and service that make every occasion memorable.

  • Overall service is great and Suggy, who owns the place is amazing and very flexible in taking last minute request modifications or the banquet hall birthday party.   • Recently held my sister's engagement ceremony here and I was very pleased with everything. The owner really took care of our needs and went above and beyond. The staff is very friendly and helped out with setting up the cake and then helped me packing it away. I used to go once a week until I moved to Scranton,Pa. Now I pay a visit three or four times a year. I have yet to find an Indian restaurant that even comes close to Crown of India.   • Tonight was my first time at Crown of India - and I will most certainly go back! The wait staff was very attentive and the evening was made more personal by a visit from the owner. It was easy to tell that he takes pride in his restaurant - and that he is very committed to his customers happiness! I enjoyed a great meal of vegetable samosas and chicken tikka masala.   • “Crown of India is by far THE best buffet in the area.  I'm not into buffets because they're generally just not very good.  Indian buffets are the exception to my rule; however, even Indian buffets are usually a disappointment as the food lacks flavor and spice to satisfy the typical American palate.
